Welcome to Newbury Bowls Club founded in 1598; a friendly, well established and active bowls club situated in Victoria Park in the old market town of Newbury.

The club is close to the Kennet and Avon Canal which runs along the boundary of the park making it a popular area of natural charm for the townsfolk and visitors alike. This makes for a picturesque setting for the club which has recently undergone a total refurbishment of its green and surroundings making the club a prime feature in the park.
The club members are looking forward to the new 2021 season.
2019 season saw the club getting back to Division one in the Kennett League.
Our season commences late April and runs on until late September. Many friendly matches are organised throughout the season and these are played either home or away.
We give a friendly welcome to visitors who are interested in watching and for those who wish to experience bowls looking to possibly join our membership. We offer equipment and tuition to newcomers, both men and women, and this is available every Monday evening from 6pm. Suitable flat shoes with no severe tread will be required to be worn to protect the green

We have a substantial club house which has a large kitchen for club catering requirements and a good sized bar offering a large selection of beer, wines, spirits and soft drinks (Please note that cash only is accepted for bar purchases). The club house is primarily used for entertaining other clubs on match days and also throughout the season for our social events.
